You're not alone in this

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Many people in the Netherlands are navigating cancer in a language that doesn't quite feel like home — or without a family network nearby. Here, you can speak English, ask real questions, and be heard. Without having to explain yourself first.

Our community is made up of patients, survivors, caregivers, and partners. Some are newly diagnosed. Some are years out. All of them showed up — and found that someone else in the room already understood.

How support works

Simple. At your pace.

  1. Choose what feels manageable today.

A group, an event, or just a conversation. There's no wrong way to start.

  2. We'll help you find the right space.

Online or in-person, based on where you are and what you need. We'll point you in the right direction.

  3. Join when you're ready.

Listening is participating. You don't have to share anything until you want to — and you never have to.

Voices from our community

In their own words.

Coming here, I didn't have to explain my whole situation first. They already understood.

Maria patient · Amsterdam

I was caring for my husband and running on empty. The caregivers' circle gave me somewhere to put it down for a while.

James caregiver · Rotterdam

The meet-ups gave me something I didn't know I was missing — people who just get it.

Anika survivor · Utrecht

I was scared to go the first time. By the second session, I was already recommending it to a friend.

Priya patient · The Hague

You don't have to perform being okay here. That matters more than I can say.
