Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to ensure there is human connection at the heart of every cancer journey. Stichting Cancer Support Netherlands works towards a future where every person facing cancer in The Netherlands receives care that is inclusive, empathetic and compassionate.

Onze missie & visie

Onze missie is om menselijke verbinding centraal te stellen in elke kankerervaring. Stichting Cancer Support Netherlands werkt aan een toekomst waarin iedereen die in Nederland met kanker te maken krijgt, zorg ontvangt die inclusief en empathisch is en met compassie wordt gegeven.

Policy Plan

• Peer Support – Buddy/guide programme via WhatsApp, social media groups, and online platforms.
• Community Support – Events, multilingual resources, and service referrals.
• Advocacy and Awareness – Engagement with policymakers and healthcare institutions to promote inclusive care for non-Dutch nationals.

Beleidsplan

• Lotgenotensteun – Buddy-/begeleidingsprogramma via WhatsApp, socialmediagroepen en online platforms.
• Gemeenschapssteun – Evenementen, meertalige informatie en doorverwijzing naar hulp.
• Belangenbehartiging en bewustwording – Samenwerking met beleidsmakers en zorginstellingen om inclusieve zorg voor niet-Nederlandse inwoners te bevorderen.

De bestuursleden van Stichting Cancer Support Netherlands zijn onbezoldigde vrijwilligers. Aan geen enkele functie is een beloning verbonden.
